Yes. Definitively.

This movie is a mixture of a comedy, a romantic comedy but also a drama and it's surprisingly good. The story is good, the acting from Kate Hudson even better and is one of those movies where you really get into the story and feel it with the protagonist.
Kathy Bates (the woman that freaked you out by keeping James Caan hostage in Misery) is great in the role of the mother and there are some interesting appearances. For example: Whoopie Woldberg and Peter Dinklage (the cool short-person from Game Of Thrones <- a must see by the way).
The only downside is the casting of the co-protagonist Gael García Bernal... I have nothing against him and I think it's great that Mexicans appear in Hollywood movies but he's just not a good match for Kate... and you just cannot buy the idea that he's a handsome Doctor.
But anyway you'll laugh and cry at some point or another with this movie so go rent it.
